We enjoyed our entire loan experience with Ken. He answered our questions and concerns promptly. We met him at another property and he was so knowledgeable with property financing. It felt great to have a loan officer that is knowledgeable in the local Portland market. He also went to the title company during closing. Typically, we never see the loan agent but seeing him twice through this purchase was great! On another note, we wished that we Fairway would display rates to their customers on their website and not have to rely on the loan agent to check on rates. Displaying rates is being transparent with your customers. I felt that I was bothering Ken asking for rates daily and I couldn’t shop around since the rates were not easily accessible. Honestly, I believe that I could have secure a loan elsewhere with a lower rate.
Great service, specifically friendly and informative communication. I always knew what part of the loan process I was in and what was expected of me. The approval/underwriting portion was much easier and faster than I expected (I've heard some horror stories! LOL). Overall, it was not complicated and Joe did a great job explaining everything to me.
