Alex was wonderful! I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our mortgage lender and everything she did for us throughout this process. From answering what felt like a million questions (some probably more ridiculous than others!) to helping us navigate a very unusual and sometimes stressful situation with the seller, she was there for us every single step of the way. She was patient, responsive, reassuring, and always willing to explain what was happening and what came next. There were definitely moments during this process when we felt overwhelmed or unsure, and having someone we trusted on our side made such a huge difference. What could have been an incredibly stressful experience was made so much easier because of the time, effort, and care she put into helping us get to the finish line. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did to help us get into our new home. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking to purchase a home. If you want someone who will truly go above and beyond for you and be there from beginning to end, she is absolutely the person you want in your corner. Jennifer and her team were incredibly helpful, kind, and communicative. This was a new process for us, and they were quick to answer any and all questions clearly, and in a way that was easy to understand (even the dumb questions we had :)) They were also quick to respond to our emails and phone calls!

Loved working with the Penland Team. They helped me with my first time home purchase. The team took the time to understand my employment history as I am newly self employed and helped me get approved for a full conventional loan. They are great to work with - proactive communication, clear expectation setting, and strong ability to distill complicated topics into easy to understand explanations. We closed very quickly! Got to work with Eric West in the process of purchasing my first home, he provided answers to any questions I had or came up during the process and closing happened with in the first estimated day.

Clear communication, readily available to answer questions, explained everything in an understandable way and made the time to answer every question that came up. They went above and beyond to provide all the details, figures, and information that I needed, didn't know I needed, and asked for.

The process from start to finish was informative, Eric was pleasant to work with and closing was complete with in the estimated time frame.

Aaron was very helpful in finding the best loan program to fit both my needs and my financial position. He was extremely informative on what I needed to know and did not mind going over things a couple of times to make sure that I fully understood and felt comfortable with the process and the loan program he suggested. Communication was stellar, not only with him but with his whole team. I never once felt that I asked a bad question or felt I should have looked something up on the internet instead of asking Aaron or his team. There were times I got busy with work and lost track of items that were due—Aaron would help bring them back into focus, not letting anything slip, even when I was the one dropping the ball. There was a hurdle that almost stopped the whole process of purchasing the home; Aaron went above and beyond, working late evenings and early mornings, to make sure we did not lose the house. To top off the experience, it did not feel like a business transaction. Aaron takes a very personal interest in helping get my family into a home. He was extremely excited for us, and when obstacles presented themselves, he worked very diligently to find solutions. He never once had any sort of negative demeanor or attitude—always positive and upbeat—and I am pretty sure he was just as excited as we were at closing! I am extremely blessed to have had Aaron and his team helping. I could not have asked for a better experience or a more knowledgeable team to have had the pleasure to work with.
