My name is James Ward. I amoriginally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, once known as the steel capital ofthe world. I now reside in the nation's energy capital of Houston, Texas. Imoved to Houston in 2003.

I am a graduate from thePennsylvania State University with a degree in real estate/finance. Upongraduating in 1988, I became a licensed real estate appraiser, valuating andevaluating both commercial and residential properties throughout the UnitedStates. In 1999, I decided to pursue a career in mortgage banking andoriginating. It is my passion to help educate people about real estate andresidential mortgages given my degree of knowledge in real estateand financing.

My experience in the mortgageindustry began in 1999 as founder, president and part owner of a mortgage companyin Pittsburgh. I resigned from my duties with the company in 2003 when Irelocated to Houston. In January 2004, I joined Fairway Independent MortgageCorp. as branch manager of the Houston office. My motto is simple — treatpeople how you want to be treated and the seeds you sow will beyour reward.

I have served as a certified mortgageplanner, a certified reverse mortgage specialist and designated military mortgagespecialist. My experience contributes to my holistic approach in educating myclients about mortgage financing and helps them choose the right mortgagesolution for their short- and long-term financial goals.

My professional core purposeis to serve the clients entrusted to our care by providing mortgage solutionsthat lead to the American dream of home ownership. The home is where memoriesof a lifetime are created!
